      Jasper received significant honors on the All-District 21- 3A baseball team, including Most Valuable Player, Coach of the Year, four players named to the first team and three on the second team. Selections are made by the district coaches.

Soccer league registration underway
Beginners camp set for Aug. 9-10
      The Pineywoods Youth Soccer League, Inc will hold registration for the Fall 2007 soccer league through July 14 at Stamps Commercial Press, 112 E. Lamar in downtown Jasper. The cost for each player is $50, which includes a uniform and insurance. Full and partial scholarships are available.

      The Jasper Lady Dawg Softball Camp will be held June 25-27 for girls' ages 8- 18 years at the softball field complex. Jasper head softball coach Nancy Walker will teach the camp. Forms can be picked up at Pat Adams Real Estate office.
