Christus offers alternative for uninsured

A new initiative offered by Christus Hospitals - St. Elizabeth, St. Mary and Jasper Memorial - provides an alternative for Texans who do not have insurance benefits or other coverage to reduce prescription medication expenses.

"The last thing you're expecting is to get sick and miss work," explains Thomas Baldwin, Christus Hospital patient. "I was really worried about where the extra money was going to come from to cover the cost of my new prescription."

"The folks over at St. Elizabeth signed me up for the savings program and I can even add family members," added Baldwin.
