JNEC plan reduces summer bills

Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative, Inc. (JNEC) is offering a budget payment plan that will "even out" monthly bills. To qualify for the plan you must:

+ Be a residential member with electric service in your own name.

+ Have a total of at least $500 in electric usage over the previous 12 months.

+ Have a record of ontime payments for the previous 12 months.

If you qualify, the monthly bill will be averaged based on the previous 12 months so that consumers don't face high seasonal bills.
