Horn-Trujillo receives Superior Service Award

Dana Ellen Horn-Trujillo has been awarded the Superior Civilian Service Award for exceptional performance while serving as the administrative support executive assistant, 1st Combat Support Brigarde (Maneuver Enhancement), Fort Polk, LA from June 1995 - May 2007.

The award is the third highest Department of the Army honorary award granted by any Commander (Major General and above) or civilian equivalent.

Horn-Trujillo gives tirelessly and selflessly of her time, epitomizes what a civilian employee is and lives the civilian creed, "dedicated to the Army, its Soldiers and civilians," according to U.S. Army general Charles C. Campbell.

Horn-Trujillo is being presented the award by the 1st Combat Support Brigade Commander, Colonel Gregory A. Watt and Command Sergeant Major Ted A. Lopez.

Horn-Trujillo is the wife of J.A. (Tony) Trujillo of Anacoco, LA and the daughter of Dan M. Horn and the late Doris Horn of Anacoco, formally of Magnolia Springs, and Kirbyville respectively.
