Author helps library raise awareness

Best selling author John Foxjohn will be the guest of the Jasper Public Library and Beaty- Orton House July 12 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. to raise money and awareness for the library and Beaty-Orton House.

Foxjohn will speak and aswer questions about becoming a published author. He will also have copies of his mystery novel, Code of Deceit, and historical fiction, Journey of the Spirit.

He is a Viet Nam veteran, was an army Airborne Ranger policeman and homicide detective, is a retired teacher and coach, and now, author.

Foxjohn is a member of Romance Writers of America, Mystery Writers of America, Final Twist Sisters in Crime and League of Texas Writers.
