KJB plans garden for Pine View

Keep Jasper Beautiful is planning a garden for Pine View Apartments on Pollard Street and a Texas Forest Service tree give away to be announced, but the big news is a KJB concert, according to coordinator Patty Shaw.

Shaw met yesterday with Danny O'Flarrity, an Irish performer who now lives in Jasper, to discuss a benefit concert for Keep Jasper Beautiful.

KJB continues to schedule cleanups throughout the county, and sponsors the recycle trailers that come every third weekend.

July 20-23 the trailer will be in the Community Church parking lot on U.S. 96. Paper, cardboard, metal and glass can all be recycled.
