'Think what this could be worth if any go pro'

THINGS ARE HEATING UP in the bidding for the one-of-a-kind autographed Jasper baseball championship team, according to street. Bidding ends Tuesday, July 31. Newsboy photo/ Sharon Kerr
Bidding as of Monday was up to $400 on the offical framed and signed photo of the Jasper state champion baseball team, according to Chamber of Commerce representative Liz Street.

"Just think what this photo could be worth if any of these boys go pro," Street said. "This is a chance to own a keepsake that will never be duplicated."

Proceeds from auctioning the photo will go toward building a memorial to the 2007 championship season.

Whoever is the winning bidder will have the option of having the presentation at their business or at a location of their choosing; it is tentatively set for Aug. 8.

The photo and bid sheets are at Sabine State Bank and Trust July 25-26, Wal-Mart July 27-29, and Texas State Bank July 30-31.
