Ernest Boyd Harris

Funeral services for Ernest Boyd Harris, 61, of Brookeland were held Friday, July 20, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Morse Cemetery in Buna.

Mr. Harris died July 17, 2007 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont.

A native of Evadale, Mr. Harris had lived there most of his life and had lived in Brookeland for the last few years. He was a truck driver for Halliburton.

Survivors include seven sons, Clint Harris of Spurger, Jamie Harris of Brookeland, Mark Harris of Spurger, Joey Harris of Colmesneil, Kevin Harris of Clear Lake, Bobby Harris of Colmesneil and Marshall Harris of Clear Lake; three daughters, Vickie Plankenship of Spurger, Shawna Brown of Colmesneil and Mary Dobbins of Colmesneil; brothers Leroy Harris of Buna, Tony Dale Harris of Evadale and Ben Allen Harris of Brookeland; sisters Jerry Pommier of Buna, Joan Frizzell of Pasadena, Winnie Harrison of Evadale and Peggy Peck of Buna and twenty grandchildren.
