Smith, Harvin announce marriage

Jennifer Smith of Jasper and Andrew Harvin of Nacogdoches were wed June 9 in Westside Baptist Church in Nacogdoches.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Jeanne Smith of Jasper. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Livingston of Jasper and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith of Burrferry, LA.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Harvin of Nacogdoches. He is the grandson of Mary Anderson, Glenn Harvin and Ruth Hammock, all of Nacogdoches.

Stephanie Griffin of Jasper served as maid of honor. Makayla Birdson of Kirbyville was the flower girl.

Will Vanse of Bellevue, NE served as the best man. Ushers were G.W. Engle of Nacogdoches and Chris Isom of Burkburnett. Haiden Isom was the ringbearer.

The bride wore a strapless, off the shoulder, beaded, satin gown. The attendants' dresses was black with turquoise, mid length.

The wedding decorations incorporated turquoise and white roses with ivy as greenery.

Musical selections were "This I Swear," by Nick Lachey and "Lost in this Moment," by Big and Rich.

The wedding trip was to Hot Springs, AR. The couple will make their home in Nacogdoches.
