Appreciating ARVFD hard work

My name is David Biscamp, I am disabled, have a wife and two girls who will be six in Aug.

I want to say how proud I am of the Angelina Fire Department.

On June 3, I had two big limbs fall across my house. One was 17 inches and the other 18 inches across at the butt.

I didn't know what I was going to do, being disabled and having no money, I was in a bad situation.

The Angelina Fire Department came out and took over. Some men got on the roof and cut the tree off and the rest of the men, and their wives, filed the limbs.

People, I'm telling you, these men knew what they were doing. They worked like a team; each person knew what he was supposed to do.

I know in my heart that these men will be there when they are called, regardless of what the situation may be.

They should be recognized for the hard work they do.
