Sections preview school year, athletics

The Jasper Newsboy and Newsboy Plus is planning its annual Back to School and Fall Sports issues Aug. 15 and Aug. 29 respectfully.

The Back to School issue will feature all you need to know to get your student ready for the upcoming school year.

From open house dates to welcomes from principals to new dress code rules, the issue will cover all the bases when it comes to the upcoming Jasper Independent School District year.

The deadline to advertise is Friday, Aug. 10.

And if it is August, then it's time for high school sports to begin.

On Aug. 29, The Jasper Newsboy and Newsboy Plus will publish its annual Fall Sports guide.

The issue will feature football previews from Jasper, Kirbyville, Buna, Newton and Woodville and will give you a first-hand guide to this year's high school football season.

The deadline to advertise is Friday, Aug. 24.
