Two-a-days begin

FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS ARE MADE during the first weeks of practice and Jasper's Bulldogs started their preparation for December games Monday as two-a-days began. Jasper Head Football Coach Thomas Brooks, above, begins his second tour of duty at the top spot of the football program.Teams are only allowed to practice in helmets and shorts until Friday,Aug. 10 when teams are allowed to suit up in full pads for workouts.The Bulldogs will open their scrimmage season Saturday, Aug. 18 against Port Neches-Groves on the road with games scheduled to start at 4, 5 and 6 p.m.
