Region 5 GED classes begin
      Region 5 fall registration for GED, Adult Basic Education and workplace readiness skills will be Aug. 28 - 31 at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The first class will be Sept. 4 at 8:30 a.m. Students should be willing to make a commitment to attend class regularly, 20 hours attendance each week is recommended.

      On May 29, 2007 through June 1st, 2007, Grant Specialist Training was taught at the JISD Technology Lab. 16 JISD professional staff (teachers) from all campuses in the district, were in attendance and successfully completed the course.

      Breakfast at Few Primary and Parnell Elementary has improves student performance, behavior, and morale. Breakfast is available free to everyone in every classroom everyday. Eating in the classroom has a greater impact on eating breakfast at school than the cost of the meal.
