Walking the Halls The Rowe family has been working hard this summer to prepare our classrooms and campus for the start of school. Our theme for the 2007-2008 academic year is "Building a Solid Foundation for a Strong Future!" Our partnership with parents, guardians, and the community remains paramount as we welcome new and exciting challenges. Habits that the students display today will stay with them for years to come. Our goal at Rowe Intermediate School is to ensure that each student has the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and self-esteem that are essential for success in school. Therefore, we are committed to providing a safe, academically challenging environment where students respect themselves and value diversity in others. With the large number of students on campus this year, we have added an eight period day instead of seven (note the new bell schedule for 2007-2008 school year). The tardy bell is 7:55 a.m. Please ensure that your child arrives on campus by 7:50 a.m. and is prepared to meet the demands of the classes. Hall Street is the designated area for students to be dropped off and picked up. For safety reasons and flow of traffic, the front entrance is for drop off and pick up of handicapped students only. The back area of the building is for authorized school vehicles. As Principal, it is my pleasure to express by working together, we will ensure that your child will receive the best education possible. Also remind your student that appropriate behavior is not an option…it is a necessity. Always know that at Rowe Intermediate, we are "Building a Solid Foundation for a Strong Future." |
