eBoard gives parents way to keep posted on progress

JISD is introducing a new technology to encourage parent communication. eBoard, a simple online communication tool that connects parents, students and educators, will be in place for all campuses this year.

Each teacher will utilize an eBoard bulletin board to post announcements, activities, rules, lesson plans, etc. for easy access from any internet capable computer.

eBoard will provide a webpage presence for each teacher. eBoard will be accessed through the JISD webpage, www.jasperisd.net.

Parents and students can go to Quick Links, Teacher eBoard and choose the teacher from the eBoard directory.

JISD recognizes that good communication between the school and home is imperative for the success of our students and schools. eBoard will provide another avenue to enhance communication.

If internet is not accessible from home the Jasper Public Library, 175 E. Water St., has free internet access. Open Mon. - Fri. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 384-3791 for more information.
