DETCOG to host monthly meeting in Trinity

The Deep East Texas Council of Governments (DETCOG) Board of Directors will hold their regular monthly meeting Thursday, Aug. 23, in the Trinity Community Center in Trinity, Texas.

A Grants Application Review Committee meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m., before the luncheon and board meeting.

Welcoming members and guest to Trinity County will be Trinity County Judge, Mark Evans; the Mayor of Trinity, Lyle Stubbs; the Mayor Pro-Tem of Trinity, Neal Smith; County Attorney, Joe Warner Bell and Minority Representative, James Alford.

DETCOG's President, Charles Simmons, would like to extend an invitation for the public to attend this meeting.
