Elva Odgen Caraway

Funeral services for Elva Odgen Caraway, 91, of Jasper will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow at Old Magnolia Cemetery in Holly Springs. Visitation will begin at 4:30 P. M. Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.

Elva died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Timberlake Health & Rehabilitation Center in Jasper. Anative of Call, Texas and former longtime resident of Austin, she had lived in Jasper for the past 4 years.

Survivors include her son Robbie Lewis Caraway and wife Janice of Houston, daughters Nelda Ehman and husband Bill of Jasper, Sylvia Jung and husband Joe C. of Austin, brother, Robert Walker Ogden of Dallas, sister Lillian Ogden Richardson of Lumberton, five grandchildren Cheryl Ehman Trigleth, Stephen Jung, Scott Jung, Robin Smith and Michael L. Caraway, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Caraway.

Memorials may be made to Gideon's International Bible Program.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
