Summer food service

Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1942 N. Main, will continue the free summer food service for ages 1-18. Breakfast will be 7-8:30 a.m. and lunch 11 a.m.-noon.

Revival services

Cornerstone Baptist Church, 591 Calvert St., will have revival services through Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. nightly. Speakers will be Willie Thompson, Ben Gibbs and Alan Hancock. Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 96, 4.5 miles South of Jasper, will hold revival meetings Aug. 23 - 25 at 7 p.m. nightly.

Palmetto State Quartet

Beech Grove Baptist Church on FM 777, eight miles West of Jasper, will host the Palmetto State Quartet Aug. 24 at 7 p.m.

Trinity Baptist concert

Happy Years of the First Baptist Church will have its monthly meeting Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. and covered dish at noon.

132nd church anniversary

The Armstrong Memorial CME will celebrate their 132nd anniversary Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. The speaker will be Douglas Wright of the Jasper Circuit Memorial U.M. Church.

Wade reception

The First Baptist Church of Jasper will hold a reception for Woody and Kathleen Wade and family Aug. 26 immediately following evening worship.

Youth annual

The Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate their youth annual Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. The theme will be II Timothy 2:15. Guests will be Michael Hadnot and the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Woodville.

Woman's Day

The Greater New Bethel Baptist Church will have a Women's Day celebration Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be Daniel Stafford and the Peaceful Rest Baptist Church of Jasper and the Starlight Baptist Church of DeRidder, LA.

Annual homecoming

The Clear Creek Community annual homecoming will be Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Lone Star District Association Church, located off Hwy. 190 West in Jasper.

7 up program

The Church of the Living god PGT in Brookeland will hold a "Women for Christ 7 up Program" Saturday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. with seven women speakers. For more information call 698- 2195.

Spanish ministry

Tanglewood Baptist Church sponsors a Hispanic Mission, Mission Bautista Calvario in Jasper. Worship services are 9:45 a.m. Sunday mornings and Bible study and prayer services are Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. For more information call 384-4727.

Men's breakfast

First United Methodist Church hosts a men's breakfast every Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the Frank Ealand Hall of the church. A home-style country breakfast is served along with a devotional message and prayer time. The breakfast costs $2. For more information, call 384-5735.
