Seminary Extension Center classes begin in September

The Sabine Neches Baptist Area Seminary Extension Center continues to equip and train people in our area in theological and practical areas of Christian ministry.

Seminary Extension is an entity of the six seminaries of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Seminary Extension is able to provide learning opportunities for ministers without college or seminary degrees, lay Christians interested in academically oriented study and seminary graduates desiring further education.

The Seminary Extension program operates through two delivery systems: a network of more than 450 extension centers and an independent study institute for correspondence study.

Learning resources of seminary extension include a variety of ACE (American Council on Education) accredited diploma-level courses dealing with biblical, theological, historical and practical ministry areas.

These diploma courses are equivalent to bachelor college level classes and many of the courses can be transferred for college credit.

Classes for the Fall 2007 will begin early September. Biblical Backgrounds will be offered and the Women's Ministry will offer Systematic Theology.
