Louis Joseph Wheeler

Funeral services for Louis Joseph Wheeler, 83, of Jasper, were held, August 18, 2007 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jasper with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

Louis was born in New Orleans, Louisiana November 23, 1923 and passed away August 14, 2007 at Harbor House Hospice in Beaumont, TX. He was a WWII veteran and he retired from Mobil Oil International after forty years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse A. & Elizabeth Wheeler, and his wife of 60 years, Audrey E. Wheeler. Louis was blessed and is survived by a second love, his wife Betty Jo Crowell Wheeler of Jasper, daughter Darlene E. Nolen of Jasper, son, Ron L. Wheeler and wife Donna of Beaumont, step daughter, Vicki Patton and husband Steve of Jasper, brothers, Jesse Wheeler and John Wheeler of Beaumont, J. R. Wheeler of Vidor and Carl Wheeler of Edmonds, Oklahoma, grandsons, Dwayne E. Page of Jasper, Brett L. Page of Kountze, Sean L. Wheeler of Beaumont, Seth R. Wheeler of Greenbay, WI, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family & friends.

Memorials may be made to Harbor House Hospice, 2450 Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas, or to Hillcrest Baptist Church, Rt. 7, Box 137, Jasper, Texas 75951.
