Daniel C. Post

Funeral services for Daniel C. Post, 79, of Kirbyville were held, Sept. 3, 2007 at Erin Baptist Church with burial to follow in Magnolia Springs Cemetery.

Daniel died Friday, August 31, 2007 at Harbor Hospital in Orange. A native of Bedias, TX he had lived the past 2 years in Kirbyville. A former longtime resident of Houston, & former resident of Palacios, TX. He retired from H. L. & P. in 1975 & was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 66 of Houston.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Lena Fisher Post of Kirbyville; four sons Adams Fisher of Palacios, Daniel Post, Jr. of Houston, Harvey Fisher & Patrick Fisher both of LaPorte, TX; Five daughters Barbara Roberson of Deer Park, Linda Manning of Provo, UT, Donna Magan of Conroe, & Della Richards of Kirbyville & Pamela Johnson of Jasper; two brothers Marion Post of Madisonville, & Johnny Post of OK; thirty grandchildren & thirty-three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by three daughters Dana Garcia, Linda Rougeou, & Kimberly Post.
