Bits of Faith Bon Wier The Greater Oldfield Church of God in Christ continue hosting the #1 annual district revival through Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Annual homecoming The Clear Creek Community annual homecoming will be Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Lone Star District Association Church, located off Hwy. 190 West in Jasper. Huff Creek A homecoming celebration will be held Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Huff Creek Community Center featuring several music groups and praise dancers. It will be free to the public. Bible study The ladies fall Bible study classes will be held Monday nights at 5:45 p.m. beginning Sept. 10, and Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. beginning today, Sept. 5, at First Baptist Church in Jasper. Mission donations The First Baptist Church in Jasper collects different items each month for their annual mission trips to Honduras. For September, they are seeking donations of boots- rubber boots, cowboy boots, work boots, no shoes please. The Baptist Girls in Action are collecting cans or money for the Mary Hill Davis State Missions. Kirbyville Men The Kirbyville Methodist Men will hold a non-denomnational fellowship breakfast Sept. 12 at 7 a.m. in the activity room of the Methodist church. Guest speaker will be Jerry Vincent, director of the Victory in Jesus singers. Adams Chapel Adams Chapel True Light Holiness Church on Hi Truitt will hold anniversary services with speaker Willie Gill Jr. of Woodville Sept. 16 at 2:30 p.m. 7 up program The Church of the Living God PGT in Brookeland will hold a "Women of Christ 7 up Program" Saturday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. with seven women speakers. For more information call 698-2195. Spanish ministry Tanglewood Baptist Church sponsors a Hispanic Mission, Mission Bautista Calvario in Jasper. Men's breakfast First United Methodist Church hosts a men's breakfast every Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the Frank Ealand Hall of the church.
