The Power Team performs feats of strength that have even been banned from the World's Strongest Man contest. They use strength, power, speed, inspiration and motivation to perform their feats.

In 1976, The Power Team became the "original" strength team and evangelistic association. Their mission is to "reach people of all ages, who would typically not ever attend an event in a church setting, with the gospel of Jesus Christ."

In their school assemblies the power team is not allowed to speak of Jesus, but they go to schools to inspire children and young adults how to try and live their lives.

"Our message is simple, live a life of excellence, make the right choices, set goals, resist temptation, overcome the past, academic achievement, self awareness and value, respect authority, be aware of the dangers of drugs, alcohol, violence, depression and suicide, realize that 'true love' waits."
