Students of the Week
Ashley Garcia, a senior at Jasper High School, has been selected as Student of the Week for Sept. 10 - 14. "Ashley is an outstanding student academically, and she is involved in many extracurricular activities," said teacher Kenneth Simmons. She is the daughter of Greg and Renee Garcia Jasper Junior High School Berenice Villalpando, an eighth grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected Student of the Week for Sept. 10 - 14. "Berenice is a wonderful student any educator would love to teach! She has a positive attitude, works hard, and gets along well with her classmates and teachers," said teacher Becky Wilson. According to teacher Dianne Pace, " Berenice is an excellent student. She not only completes her work, she asks questions to extend her knowledge and understanding. She does meticulous work, and is an inspiration and role model to her classmates." Villalpando enjoys listening to music, swimming, and shopping during her spare time. Her favorite subjects are english and history.
