The Eagles finally play their home opener with the Eagles host the Shepherd Pirates. The Pirates will welcome back starting quarterback Seth Keith after he missed most of last season with a knee injury. Chaz Caddie also returns at running back after rushing for more than 1,200 yards last year for the Pirates. Sept. 28 at Tarkington

The Eagles open the District 23-2A season by hosting the Shelbyville Dragons. Last year, the Dragons finished the year winless and traveling to a play an improving Eagle squad may be a tall order for the young Dragons.
