Mills announce engagement

Jerry and Catherine Mills of Burkeville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jimell Mills of Burkeville, to Ryan Powell of Jasper.

The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of Loberta Mills of Burkeville.

The groom-elect's parents are Richard and Kay Powell of Jasper. He is the grandson of Eva Mae Williams and Carrie Powell of Jasper.

The wedding is set for Oct. 13 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with reception to follow at Family Life at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

The couple will make their home in Jasper.
