      Jasper High School D.J. Jackson, senior of Jasper High School, has been selected student of the week for Oct. 8-12. "D.J. is involved in cross country and basketball, and he is a very good student, one who cares about learning," said teacher Becky French. "He always tries his best.

JHS Choir members chosen for All Region
      Five Jasper High School Choir members were chosen for the Region 10 Texas Music Educators Associatoin All Region Choir. Auditions were held Sept. 29 at Nederland High School. JHS competed against almost 1,100 students in region 10.
