Students of the Week
D.J. Jackson, senior of Jasper High School, has been selected student of the week for Oct. 8-12. "D.J. is involved in cross country and basketball, and he is a very good student, one who cares about learning," said teacher Becky French. "He always tries his best." Jackson is the son of LaShanda Jackson. Jasper Junior High School Brandon Peterson, a seventh grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected student of the week for Oct. 8-12. "Brandon has a great attitude and is an extreme pleasure to have in my class," said teacher Dwayne Armstrong. Peterson enjoys spending time outdoors. He also participates in several sports including football and baseball. Brandon's favorite subject is pre-algebra.
He is the son of Kenny and Tiffany Peterson.
