Walk of Hope goes to the dogs this year

The 2007 Walk of Hope last Saturday, Oct. 6, raised $12,000 for cancer research.

About 125 people participated and 30 cancer survivors were honored at the end of the walk, according to Walk of Hope organizers.

Kids did wheelbarrow laps, but the most popular round came when about a dozen pets did "lap it up" for the cause.
