Blueitt enters Harvard Law

Blueitt
Brittany C. Blueitt, formerly of San Antonio, has entered her first year at Harvard University Law School where she will study Intellectual Property Law.

Blueitt graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland in College Park in Dec. 2006, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering where she was awarded a Banneker Key scholarship, a full four-year academic scholarship.

She was awarded a $30,000 Intellectual Property scholarship for law school from the American Intellectual Property Association, as well as a $3,000 civil rights scholarship from the Earl Warren Legal Training Program.

Upon graduation from Harvard Law School, she plans to work for a technology firm in Intellectual Property Law.

Blueitt is the daughter of Col. Odis R. Blueitt, USAR and Col. Pauletta D. Blueitt, USAF of San Antonio. She is the granddaughter of Ada and Nathaniel Phillips of Kirbyville and Amelia Johnson of San Antonio.
