Grand Jury indicts nine

The Jasper County grand jury met Oct. 9 and indicted nine defendants. Indictment does not mean these defendants are guilty, but that the grand jury found sufficient evidence to proceed with trial:

Dale E. McQueen, 28, of Jasper, murder

Matthew J. Cade, 22, of Jasper, robbery

Darwin D. Moore, 38, of Port Arthur, and Kevin L. Moore, 31, or Mooringsport, LA, theft

Charles W. Eubanks, 27, of Koutze, aggravated assault on a public servant

Gerald D. Stanley, 28, of Jasper, burglary

Khrysti K. Ross, 36, of Woodville on possession of a controlled substance

Justin L. Jones, 23, delivery of simulated controlled substance

Rickey D. Patrick, 43, of Jasper, indecency with a child
