Four sentenced

District 1 Judge Joe Bob Golden's court settled five cases with plea bargains or waivers of indictment last Friday, Oct. 19.

Mary M. Beatty, 40, of Jasper pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to eight months in state jail to run concurrently with a Tyler County charge.

Andrea Lindsey, 33, of Jasper pleaded guilty to counts of forgery and was sentenced to two years in state jail for charge, to run concurrently.

Jason Clowers, 30, of Jasper waived indictment on a burglary charge and received nine months in state jail.

Jessica Phillips, 33, waived indictment on theft and received one year in state jail.
