Kathryn Elizabeth Bettis

Kathryn Elizabeth Bettis was born May 8, 1924 to Charlie and Alice Kirk Barnhill in Navasota, Texas and passed away in Huntsville, Texas October 16, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Survivors include her husband Alvin R. Bettis, son Al Bettis and wife Neva of Hallsville, daughter Connie Adams of Huntsville, nine grandchildren, nine greatgrand children, brother Charles Barnhill and wife Gloria of Crosby, sister Georgia Peavler of Ft. Worth along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Saturday October 20, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Homes with Rev. Ellen Willett officiating. The family received friends Friday at the funeral home.
