Janette Byerly Folsom

Graveside funeral services for Janette Byerly Folsom, 78, of Jasper was held October 23, 2007 at Magnolia Cemetery in Holly Springs, TX.

Janette died October 20, 2007 at Winnie Community Hospital in Winnie. Anative and lifelong resident of Jasper, she was a 1946 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and retired as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone in Jasper.

Survivors include two sons, Doug Folsom & wife Pam of Houston, Fred Folsom & wife Susan of Beaumont; one brother, Clem Byerly of Jasper; nine grandchildren, Terry Folsom, Brad Folsom, Brent Folsom, John Folsom, Channing Folsom, Amy Hall, Michele Folsom, Jenny Folsom and Bonnie Hollier; and 11 great-grandchildren. Janette was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Willard Folsom, daughter Brenda Folsom and son Walter Steven Folsom.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.
