Bruce Thompson Swain

Bruce Thompson Swain, 91, of Jasper, passed away October 18, 2007. He was born December 26, 1915 in Elida, New Mexico to Walter and Bertha Swain. Mr. Swain worked as an operator in the petroleum industry. This was no ordinary life. This was a life well lived and well loved. A life that will be deeply missed by all.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Willie M. Swain of Jasper; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Milton Gautney of Pearland, Paula and Curtis Kimbro of Livingston and Deanne and Bill Pitcher of Kingwood; step-son and wife Wayne and Samantha McKinzie of Winnamuka, NV; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 2 p.m. at the Hillcrest Baptist Church. The visitation will be from 1 until 2 at the church.
