BUNA'S NEXT FOUR CONTESTS
Oct. 26 at East Chambers

Fresh off their big victory over Hardin, Buna has little time to celebrate as they travel to Winnie to take on district powerhouse and favorite East Chambers. This game is another battle of unbeatens and will feature two vaunted offensive attacks in the district. East Chamber's Tramain Thomas and Buna's overall offensive package. This one may come down to who scores last.

Nov. 2 Deweyville

The Deweyville Pirates, under the direction of head coach Dwight Bickham, return 14 starters from last year's 8-3 playoff squad. It will be interesting to see if Buna has any hangover affect from two big contests with Hardin and East Chambers as they take on the Pirates at home.

Key returning players include quarterback Brandon Powell, who rushed for 726 yards and eight touchdowns last year. Joining Powell in the backfield for the Pirates will be running back Stephen Gibson, who rushed for 458 yards and eight touchdowns last season.

Nov. 9 at Warren

Buna wraps up the District 24-2A wars with a road contest against the improved Warren Warriors. Head Coach T.J. Ramsey returns 10 starters from last year for Warren. Taking over the quarterback duties this year for the Warriors will be Travis McBee, who started the past couple of seasons as the defensive strong safety.

McBee will be joined the backfield by junior running back Brazos Morris, who rushed over 308 yards and two touchdowns last year. Morris also stared on defense for the Warriors.
