USAF band to give free concert on Nov. 3

The United States Air Force Band of the West Concert Band will give a free concert on Saturday evening, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Temple Theater, on the Angelina College campus in Lufkin.

In addition, several local student musicians from Angelina College will join the USAF Band of the West when they play John Phillip Sousa's "The Washington Post" march during the concert. The students are all members of the AC Roadrunners Jazz Band and the AC Concert Band/Lufkin Community Band, and they include Christy Roberts (flute), Evelyn Walker (flute), Sarah Horace (clarinet), Cindy Rojo (clarinet), Stephen Rushing (trumpet), Jeremy Simon (tuba), and Addison Weaver (percussion).
