Trego-Seedor

Jasper Junior High School

Payton Trego-Seedor, an eighth grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Nov. 5-9.

"Payton is a pleasant and inquisitive student, eager to learn and participate in class. In preparing for contest on her own, she has shown willingness to excel and not do only that which is required," said teacher Donna Ivey.

Teacher Linda Ebarb stated, "She is a well mannered and polite student in my class. She always has her work, and actively participates in class."

Trego-Seedor enjoys watching television and surfing the web during her spare time. She is a member of the youth drama team and the youth praise and worship team at Victory Assembly of God church in Lufkin. Her favorite subject is science.

She is the daughter of Warren and Renee Joslin.

Rowe Intermediate

Allison Bolen, a sixth grade student of Rowe Intermediate, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Nov. 5 - 9.

"She is always complimenting others and when it is time for her to do her work she gets to work and does a great job," said Karon Radford.

Bolen enjoys singing, running and painting. He favorite subject is choir.

Bolen is the daughter of Dan and Ledon Bolen.

Jasper High School

Elizabeth Eickenhorst, senior of Jasper High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Nov. 5 - 9.

"Elizabeth is such a joy to have in class. She is one of Mrs. Hadley's students, and this is the second year that I have had her in class," said teacher Kristen Franz. "She makes me realize what teaching is all about."

Eickenhorst is the daughter of Sue Eickenhorst.
