JHS class of 1962 enjoys 45th reunion The Jasper High School class of 1962 met for their 45th reunion in October. Awards were given to Bill Reed, who traveled the greatest distance from Sterling, Va.; Linda Palmer Kellum, married the longest; James Bivins, retired the longest; Judy Misenheimer Kimmey, most recently married; Linda Westbrook Matzke, most bionic person, most artificial parts; Jeannie Romero Stephenson, most great-grandchildren; Sue Hollis Gee, oldest grandchild; John Griffin, male that has changed the most; Charles Miles, male who has changed the least; Marilyn Loftin Massey, female who has changed the least; Marilyn Milner Ratcliff, staying in touch award; Sherry and Jimmy Ellis, special appreciation award. Other Jasper residents in attendance included Jeanette Lake Woods and husband Bobby, Danny Massey, Charles Ivy and wife Mary, June Hamilton Hicks and husband Ron, James Hilliard and wife Charlotte, Milton Brack and wife Eileen, Judy Allen Segrest and Beth Jones Eckman. Out of town guests included Frank Matzke of Newton, David Bolton and wife Mary of Huett, Melba Ellis Severa and husband Leon of Cypress, Linda Solly Warner and husband James of College Station, Linda Williams Woody of Tyler, Brad Jacks and wife Cheryl of Ruston, La., Janette Hicks Clark and husband Jerry of Buna. | |||||
