JHS Encore Players to perform updated version of Robin Hood

The Jasper Community Theater's second presentation of the season is an updated version of a traditional legend, Robin Hood and his Merry Men, as interpreted by students from Jasper High School.

Director Kim Hines announced the cast and crew of The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, presented by JHS Encore Players and Jasper Community Theatre Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Nov. 29 - Dec. 1, at 7 p.m.

Jason Hargrove stars as Robin Hood, Charlotte O'Brien as Maid Marian and Richard O'Brien as Prince John. James Oakes is the villainous Sheriff of Nottingham, and Hannah Vickers as the townsgirl who is the real heroine.

The merry band and supporting characters are Trevor Cratic, Trey Faircloth, Erica White, Dakota Johnston, Sarah Wade, Kelsey Murray, Heather Holcombe, Mariah Mallett, Tho Nguyen, Morgann Talbot and Stacey Hallam.

Prince John's Fawning Ladies are Monica Faul, Shelby Pickering, Lindsey Moore, Clarissa Gibson, Brandi Carroll, Riley Hines, Lauren Truett, Haley Shipman, Morgan Marx and Allison Collins.

Crew members are Rebecca Vickers, Kayla Floyd, Lori Bryant, Caitlyn DuBose, Nikki Lopez, Haley Dover, and Rebekah Henderson.
