Frank Chapman

Frank Chapman, 74, of Jasper, passed away November 15, 2007 at his home. A native of Erin, Texas, he was a lifelong resident of the Jasper area and had retired after many years as a self-employed painting contractor. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and a faithful member of Call United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper, burial followed at Zion Hill Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jarrod McCauley. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Clairece Chapman of Jasper; Daughters, Melissa Mallett and husband Tommy, Cynthia Greenwood and husband Tom, and Pam Powell and husband Barry all of Jasper; Brother, T.C. Chapman of Winnie, TX. Sisters, Myrtie Smith of Erin, TX., Ada Mae Shepherd and husband Bill of Lancaster, TX., Joyce Cox and husband Dean of Cotton Valley, LA., and Lucy Lewis and husband Doug of Kirbyville, TX. Extended family, Nellie, Isaac, Natalie, and Nathan Haynes; along with 4 grandchildren, Chasity, Mariah, Devin, and Dooley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed toward Call United Pentecostal Church, or toward Lakes Area Hospice.
