Leonard Nelson

Funeral services for Leonard Nelson, 79, of Jasper were held Monday, November 19, 2007 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

Leonard died November 17, 2007 at Dickerson Memorial Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jasper County. A founding member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, he was a long time deacon and member of the Job Men's Sunday School Class. After over 30 years, he retired from Brookshire Brothers in Jasper as a customer serviceman.

He is survived by many friends and cousins.
