Students of the Week
Jaleesa Johnson, a senior of Jasper High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Nov. 26 - 30. "Besides being an excellent student, Jaleesa is involved in many extracurricular activities," said teachers Kenneth Simmons and Jamie White. "Jaleesa handles all of her responsibilities with maturity and confidence. She is an excellent role model for her peers." Johnson is the daughter of Jennifer Johnson. Jasper Junior High Christian Guadian, a sevent grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Nov. 26- 30. "Christian is a very talented, hard-working art student. I can always count on him to do his very best," said teacher Deborrah Simmons. "He takes pride in the quality of his work and in his craftsmanship. It is a pleasure to have Christian in my art class." Guadian enjoys playing soccer and football. His favorite subject is math.
Rowe Intermediate Lexis David, a sixth grade student at Rowe Intermediate, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Nov. 26 - 30. "She excels at math," said teacher Charles King. "She is always willing to help others." She like to draw, sing, and ride horses. Her favorite subject is science.
David is the daughter of Amy Holmes and Thomas David.
