Few nights

Few Primary Parent Night will be Nov. 29 in the cafeteria/ gym from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Few First grade will have their Christmas program Dec. 4 and 6 at 6 p.m.

Baseball tryouts

Buna Little League tryouts will be Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. For infomation call Chad Shepherd at 679-0267.

ACT workshop

There will be two ACT Preparation workshops from 5:30 - 7:30 Dec. 3 - 4 for those who signed up for the Dec. 8 ACT. They will be in the downstairs front hall of Jasper High School. For more information e-mail Becky French at bfrench@jasperisd.net.

Catfish Cabin

Catfish Cabin in Lumberton, Hwy. 96, first light on right, will host a Bluegrass, Gospel and Country Western music Christmas party Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. Instruments can be brought to play and voices to sing. Limited seating so RSVP at 727-1403.

College fair

Jasper High School will host its annual College Fair Dec. 5 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the shell gym. More than 40 colleges will send recruiters to answer questions about their institutions.

Christmas Parade

The Jasper Lake Sam Rayburn Area Chamber of Commerce announced the date of the Christmas parade will be Friday, Dec. 7, at 6:30 p.m. Theme is "Christmas 'round the World." Call 384- 2762 or visit www.jaspercoc. org.

TEEA party

The TEEA Crhistmas party is Dec. 7 starting at 10 a.m. at Call Baptist Church on U.S. Highway 96 South. The Texas extension group will be collecting gifts for the hospice and drawing for the door prize.

JISD Concert

The Jasper ISD Christmas Band Concert will be Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Jasper High School auditorium.The concert will include selections by the 6th grade band, Junior High Concert Band, Junior High Symphonic Band, High School Jazz Band, and the High School Band.

Jasper Retired Teachers

The Jasper Retired Teachers Association will hold its annual Christmas luncheon 11:30 a.m. Dec. 13 at the Church of Christ Christian Service Center. Each member is asked to bring an unwrapped gift for the Women and Children's Shelter.
