Students of the Week
David Cleveland-Hadley, a senior at Jasper High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Dec. 3 - 7. "David Cleveland-Hadley is a well-rounded student; he excels in all academic areas and also in his extracurricular activities," said teacher Kenneth Simmons. "He has set a goal of going to a military academy, and he is working hard to attain that goal." He is the son of Lindy and Liz Hadley. Jasper Junior High School Faith Shaw, a seventh grade student of Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Dec. 3 - 7. "Faith is a great art student. She always puts forth her best effort and is not deterred by difficult assignments," said teacher Deborrah Simmons. "She is well-mannered and very helpful. I really enjoy having Faith in art class this semester." Shaw is a member of the JJHS band and is involved with the youth group at Tanglewood Baptist Church. Her favorite subject is writing.
Rowe Intermediate Daniel Caldwell, a sixth grade student at Rowe Intermediate, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Dec. 3 - 7. "Daniel is a conscientious student and a very dependable young man. I know I can trust him to tell the truth and always do the right thing in any situation," said teacher Sally Wegner. "Add to that a fine sense of humor that enables him to make many friends. I'm glad he's in my class." He likes looking for arrow heads and football. His favorite subject is science.
He is the son of Andrea and Billy Caldwell.
