Stark to seek re-election to Pct. 3 position

Precinct 3 Commissioner Willie Stark announced Monday, Dec. 3, that he will seek re-election for his third term.

Stark was raised in the Kirbyville area, where his family has lived for several generations.

He is a 1976 honor graduate from Kirbyville High School, and worked in the construction industry for 25 years prior to becoming county commissioner.

Stark has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 29 years. They have three children, Brent, Darin and Kasey.

He is a member of several local organizations in the Kirbyville area and attends Central Baptist Church.

"The county is in excellent financial shape," Stark said. "We have survived two hurricanes and other natural disasters. Precinct 3 has been able to improve more than 35 miles of roads under my leadership."
