Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Persons, age 86, were held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Teague, Texas waith interment at Salem Cemetery in Freestone County. Rev. Robert Thomson will officiate. Mrs. Persons passed away November 27, 2007 at her home in Pocahontas, Il. She was born on October 8, 1921 in New Concord, Kentucky to Abro & Lulu Bell McCutcheon. She is a former resident of Carlyle, Il and Jasper, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Snyder of Pocahontas. Il and son, Lloyd Persons of Jasper Texas. Seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Kirves of Willis, Tx, brotherin law, Jack Gray of Evansville, Indiana, brotherin law & sister-in-law, Melvin & Cora Persons of Pasadena, Tx, sister, Betty Ries of Sommerville, Tx, three nieces, many cousins, other relatives & friends.
