Guzman weds Ortega in Lufkin ceremony

Sara Guzman of Jasper and Juan Carlos Ortega of Lufkin were wed Dec. 1 in Lufkin.

The bride is the daughter of Saul and Adelaida Guzman of Jasper.

The groom is the son of Demecio and Eva of Mexico.

The bride's attendants were Ivonne Sarmiento of Dallas and Gloria Sarmiento of San Antonio. Celeste Aldaco of Jasper was the flower girl.

Jose Luis Ortega of Lufkin served as the best man. The groomsmen were Antonio Ortega and Arturo Ortega, both of Lufkin.

Ushers were Crystal Astello of Jasper and Adrian Sarmiento of Dallas.

Members of the house party were Adriana Ortega of Lufkin and Adelaida Guzman of Jasper.

The bride's dress was a full length white bussel with long train. The attendants wore fusia, satin strapless dresses.

The wedding decorations were fusia and white roses.

The musical selections were Pilo y Sus Monarcas and Herencia del Norte.

The wedding trip was to San Antonio and the couple will make their home in Jasper.
