Jonathan Dockery and Julie Kirk of Hemphill announce the birth of their daughter, Sarah Ellen, born Dec. 5 at 12:23 p.m. at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. She weighed 3 pounds 9 ounces and was 16 inches long.

Grandparents are Clyde and Barbara Kirk of Hemphill and Linda Barlow of Hemphill and James Dockery of KY.

Great-grandparents are Edith Siau of Call and Billy and Vernon Barlow of Hemphill.

Jacob Hunter James

Jesse James and Jeni McCollister of Colmesneil announce the birth of their son, Jacob Hunter, born Dec. 6 at 2:03 p.m. at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. He weighed 5 pounds 8 1/2 ounces and was 18 inches long.
