Walking the halls

Greetings! Welcome back to walking the halls of J. H. Rowe Intermediate.

As principal of J. H. Rowe Intermediate, it is my pleasure to express just how much we enjoy working with your children. It's hard to believe that we have already completed the second six weeks of school.

We have had the privilege of meeting many of you as visit our campus.

Working together ensures that your child will receive the best education possible.

Students must be encouraged to read at least 20 minutes and to review math facts every night.

Remember that your child needs you to take an active role in his/her education. Please remind your student that appropriate behavior is not an option…it is a necessity. We are here for you and your children.

Always know that at Rowe, "We are building a solid foundation for a strong future."

This month is going to be very busy. Our teachers have will continue to administer benchmark and mock TAKS assessment tests. The information gathered is very beneficial. The assessment provides information for teachers to plan the most appropriate instruction.

By using the data collected, teachers and parents can see the growth their child has had throughout the year.
